Having taught A Level and GCSE Music for the last
fourteen years I
believe that students need a comprehensive and extensive resource bank of
information to help them with their studies and examinations. This is the
main reason why I have set up this web site for students and teachers to use
and share resources.
Being a GCSE moderator, an AS and A Level
examiner and a teacher of GCSE and AS and A Level Music, I have compiled many of my music notes and included them on this web
site for students to use. As Head of CAPE (Creative Arts and PE) at Twynham
School in Christchurch, Dorset I have found students use such resources regularly.
GCSE students can find lots of information
about a wide range of topics on this web site.
In addition, through GCSE
Distance
Learning the site offers guidance and tuition for those students who want
to take GCSE Music independently, or who need further assistance on their
school coursework. Advice and guidance is available on Composing and
Performing
and you can purchase your own Listening
materials!
The Music History Notes
consist of detailed background notes and analysis of set works for AS and A Level students.

Have fun!
