What kind of feedback will you receive about your compositions?

On the GCSE Costs page you will have noticed the following three categories. Below is a description of the help and advice you will receive.

You may wish to print this for reference.

1. One detailed commentary returned to you, including advice and guidance on how to improve your submitted composition. 

This will give you one feedback on one composition only.

You will need to send a COPY (not the original!) of your piece to my PO Box address (see How to Order)

Within 21 days  you will receive back a report on your piece, outlining its successes and weaknesses.

You will also receive a set of guidelines on how you can improve you piece.

 

2. Three detailed commentaries returned to you, including advice and guidance on how to improve your submitted compositions.

This will give you either: (a) three feedbacks on one composition; or (b) two feedbacks on one composition plus one feedback on a second composition.

The duration of this service is over a six month period, from the receipt of the first composition and payment.

You do not have to send your compositions altogether. You can spread them over the six month period (this is advisable!).

You will need to send a COPY (not the original!) of your piece to my PO Box address (see How to Order)

Within 21 days of sending each piece you will receive back a report on your piece, outlining its successes and weaknesses.

You will also receive a set of guidelines on how you can improve you piece.

 

3. Five detailed commentaries returned to you, including advice and guidance on how to improve your submitted compositions.

This will give you either: (a) three feedbacks on one composition and a further two feedbacks on a second composition; or (b)  two feedbacks on two compositions and one feedback on a third composition.

The duration of this service is over a nine month period, from the receipt of the first composition.

You do not have to send your compositions altogether. You can spread them over the nine month period (this is advisable!).

You will need to send a COPY (not the original!) of your piece to my PO Box address (see How to Pay Order)

Within 21 days of sending each piece you will receive back a report on your piece, outlining its successes and weaknesses.

You will also receive a set of guidelines on how you can improve you piece.
